‘Sorry for the interruption’ is displayed when you’re using an unofficial app to access YouTube. And here is how you can fix the TubeMate issue.

Are you one of those TubeMate users complaining about an error message that says, ‘Sorry for the interruption’? If so, you’ve come to the right place as we’ve found a quick fix to the issue. Although this message is used to block bots on the network, YouTube may also display it if you’re using any of the unofficial Android applications to download videos from the platform. And in this case, you are using one.

The ‘Sorry for the interruption’ is essentially a warning message from YouTube to let you know that you’re using a non-authorized app for accessing YouTube. And that by using one, you could be exposed to a number of risks like malware. But developers at TubeMate assures that the app isn’t a malware, nor is it harmful. So, if you’re cool with using the video downloader at your own risk, you may follow the below steps:

Fix for ‘Sorry for the interruption’ error on TubeMate

Like I mentioned earlier, the objective of this error message from YouTube is to either make sure that you’re not a bot. Or, to crack down on unofficial video downloader apps like TubeMate.

However, if you’d like to continue using TubeMate, all you need to do is verify you are not a robot. For that, tap on the ‘I’m not a robot’ checkbox and complete the captcha test. Once it is done, click on ‘Submit’ and you can continue using TubeMate without any issues.
