This is a video of Pirl Charger, a Kickstarter campaign that managed to collect over $101,640 — well over its $8000 goal — in a matter of few days. In case you didn’t know, the device in question is a portable charger that lets you connect up to four devices at the same time. The best part about the Pirl Charger, however, is that — unlike the alternatives available in the market — this one doesn’t throttle the power being supplied to any of the devices. This means each port will get a constant supply of 2.7amps and up to…

The new update weighs 279MB and bumps the firmware build version to 47.1.A.12.235. As usual, however, Sony don’t have a changelog of the update for us, but a reader who installed the update told us that it doesn’t bring any new feature on board. The update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA), so it may take a while before it becomes available on your device. It goes without saying, but make sure you have at…

Google will soon roll out a redesign of the Google Home app, according to folks over at XDA Developers. The new design will go in line with the firm’s latest Material Design guidelines. For the uninitiated, Google Home app lets you configure the firm’s smart speaker hardware including Google Home, Google Home Mini, and Google Home Max. We’re not talking about a major design overhaul, but the new update will bring along some small UI improvements. Speaking of which, a bottom toolbar will replace the sidebar menu present in the current iteration of the app. Other than that, both the…

In an email response to a curious user, Nokia Mobile Care responded that all Nokia devices released thus far are expected to get the Android P software update sometime in August. Though the email doesn’t specifically mention each model and their respective update release date, we…
