Leaked schematics of upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 showcases a design better than the Galaxy S8.

There is no denying that the fact that Galaxy S8 is currently one of the best-looking smartphones on the market. With an Infinity display and metal/glass build, it’s safe to say that there is almost no smartphone in the world that can match the looks and feel of Galaxy S8. However, a new leak allegedly surrounding the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 reveals a gorgeous looking edge-to-edge all-screen front display.

It’s worth noting here that Xiaomi Mi Mix was the first phone to come sporting an almost bezel-less display. And yes, Xiaomi did it way before LG or Samsung launched their first all-screen front flagships. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be completely wrong in saying that the design of Galaxy S8 and LG G6 were inspired from a Chinese smartphone.

However, a new leak from Weibo (via Slashleaks) suggests that the forthcoming Mi Mix 2 shall have a fully bezel-less design. That means the screen-to-body ratio of the handset could be very close to 100%. To compare, the original Mi Mix featured 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, while it is around only 83.6% for the Galaxy S8. So, this is a pretty great deal for the Chinese company.

Nevertheless, that isn’t the only highlight of the upcoming Mi Mix 2. There is also a dual camera setup in the back with dual tone LED flash. It looks like every single manufacturer in the market is moving to a dual camera setup on their flagship devices. Smartphones with a single rear camera have become a thing of past now. Even, Samsung is adopting the camera technology on their upcoming Galaxy Note 8.

Taking a closer look at the leaked pictures, you’ll find a USB-C port and speaker grill setup on the bottom of the device. Apart from that, there is a volume rocker and a power/unlock on the right, while the SIM slot is located on the left side.

There is not much we know about the smartphone as of now. But, it is expected to house the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset along with at least 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
