The tablet costs a little lower than $200.

Although the market for tablet PCs had almost become non-existent for some years now, the number of Chinese tablets flooding the GearBest store seems to have no stopping. The latest to hit the online e-tailer is the Teclast Master T8, which is currently up for preorders for $199.11.

Even with a very affordable price point, Teclast managed to pull off a mid-range tablet with premium build quality and decent internal hardware. For $200, you’re getting a decent mid-range tablet that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. At this point, we can’t confirm whether the tablet will receive Android Oreo update or not. Plus, looking at the track record of most Chinese tablets out there, it’s very unlikely that this tablet will receive any further software support from the company. Regardless, the device feels premium thanks to the Aluminum rear. As for the specs, the Teclast Master T8 features an 8.4-inch screen with a display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a hexacore MediaTek MTK8176 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. Other specs include 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 13MP front-facing camera.

You can bid adieu to your storage problems as the device packs a microSD slot which supports up to 256GB storage. To keep the lights on, it has a 5400mAh battery which, according to the company, should let you have 6 hours of video playback time.

The Master T8 also has a fingerprint reader up front, i.e, just below the display panel. The connectivity options for this device include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The device measures 8.64 x 5.04 x 0.31 inches and weighs about 3460 grams.
